Hello, I’m Keyshanna Apple, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over eight years of experience in both critical care and mental health settings. My journey in nursing began at Rutgers University, where I earned my MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2017. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals as they navigate some of life’s most challenging moments.
As a woman of Caribbean heritage, I bring a deep respect for cultural competence into every interaction. I understand how each person’s unique background shapes their experience, and I strive to create a welcoming, patient-centered space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. My approach is rooted in education and collaboration—working together to empower you with the tools and knowledge needed to improve your quality of life and achieve lasting wellness.

You’ll be met with empathy and a judgment-free environment where your voice matters. I’m committed to ensuring that you feel respected and supported as we work together to create a treatment plan that truly aligns with your needs and goals.
Our first session will be a comprehensive evaluation where I’ll take the time to understand your concerns, history, and overall wellbeing. This includes discussing prior diagnoses, treatments, medications, and lifestyle factors. From there, we’ll develop a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan tailored to you. This may include medication management, therapy, and consistent follow-up care to support you every step of the way.
