Hey! I’m Fatmata. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in evidence-based care and compassionate practice. My career has taken me through diverse roles, including two years in psychiatric practice, seven years in intensive care, and three years in behavioral health. I’ve also served as an adjunct nursing professor, which has further refined my holistic and educational approach to care.
Managing mental health concerns or navigating major life changes can feel overwhelming-especially if you’re doing it alone. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can be heard, understood, and supported every step of the way. Whether you’re exploring new therapeutic options, seeking medication support, or simply need someone to listen, I’m here to walk with you through your healing journey.
Healing happens best through connection and collaboration. I take time to truly listen to your story and work alongside you to craft a treatment plan that reflects your values and goals. Whether you’re facing new challenges or managing long-standing concerns, I’ll meet you where you are – with empathy, expertise, and no judgment.
We’ll begin with a comprehensive evaluation, where I get to know you – not just your symptoms, but your whole story. From there, we’ll design a personalized plan that may include medications, therapeutic strategies, or both. I believe in open communication and shared decision-making, so your care remains flexible, responsive, and focused on what matters most to you.
